Return Policy

Our return policy allows you a generous 14 days from the date you receive your item to submit a return request. Once your return request is approved, you will need to send the item back to us.

Please be aware that all refunds incur an administrative fee of £6.50, which will be deducted from your total refund amount.

Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it: unworn, unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

To begin the return process, please contact us at shop@thehairinventory.co.uk. If your return request is accepted, we will provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that items sent back without a prior return request will not be accepted.

Refund Process

In case of a return within 14 days, only the price of the product(s) will be refunded. Delivery costs, as well as any taxes and customs fees related to returns, are the customer's responsibility. The refund will be adjusted by deducting the cost of return shipping, customs, and tax fees from the initial order amount. Customers are free to choose their return method, but they must bear the applicable taxes and customs costs.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if the refund has been approved. If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 days from the day we receive the returned products in their  original condition.
Keep in mind that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if you find that an item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. This allows us to evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

 

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products, special orders, or personalised items. If you have questions or concerns about a specific item, please get in touch with us. 
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The quickest way to ensure you receive the item you want is to email us. We can arrange for the return of your current item. Once the return is accepted, we can send you the item you desire, or you can place a new order on our website.

 

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If the merchandise is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, without justification. As mentioned above, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it: unworn, unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
